The Poston Butte Broncos basketball team (San Tan Valley, AZ), was nudged 25-21 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ)

The Firebirds now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North for a 4A East Sky battle on Friday, January 19. Eastmark will confront a Eagles team coming off a 44-39 league loss to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
