South Carolina High School Basketball - Dorchester Academy victorious over Branchville
January 18, 2025: Branchville, SC 29432 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Dorchester Academy Raiders basketball team scored a good 61-50 triumph over the Branchville Yellow Jackets.
The Raiders (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, St. John's Christian Academy was topped by Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC), 55-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC) in a A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Branchville will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Islanders go into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 68-28 league loss to Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC).
