New Jersey High School Basketball - Monroe Township toppled by Central Regional
January 18, 2025: Bayville, NJ 08721 Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ), 53-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Central Regional advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ) to face the Rams in a Shore A - South match on Tuesday, January 21. The Rams enter the match with a record of 8-3. Southern Regional won 43-42 in their recent non-league match against Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ)
The Falcons now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Bridge for a Greater Middlesex - Red match on Tuesday, January 21.
