January 18, 2025: Shorewood, WI 53211 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI) and the host Shorewood Greyhounds (Shorewood, WI), observed Martin Luther's basketball team overcome Shorewood by a score of 75-64.
The Spartans (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI). The Knights come into the Metro Classic challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Dominican defeated St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI), 85-65, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the St. Francis Mariners (St. Francis, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Shorewood will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 54-44 league loss to Luther Prep (Watertown, WI).
