In Saturday's non-league test, the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) basketball squad trounced the visiting Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), by a score of 56-24.

Next, the Buckaroos clash with the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 24. Lowry will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 44-22 non-league win over Hug (Reno, NV).
