Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Daniel Lions (Central, SC), 60-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Asheville School (Independent) advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Blues host Carolina Day (Asheville, NC) to play the Wildcats in a NCISAA Carolinas bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Carolina Day lost 76-29 in their recent league bout against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA)

With the loss, Daniel falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Seneca (Seneca, SC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21.
