Illinois High School Basketball - Carmel crushes Belvidere North
January 18, 2025: Belvidere, IL 61008 The Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) basketball crushed the host Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), 68-18 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Corsairs now possess a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Marist for a East Suburban Catholic bout on Wednesday, January 22. Carmel will play a RedHawks team coming off a 57-24 league win over Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 17-6.
With the loss, Belvidere North falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Blue thunder travel to East Moline United (East Moline, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-20. East Moline United lost 55-25 in their recent league bout against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
