January 18, 2025: East Moline, IL 61244 The Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) basketball were winner over the host East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL), 44-25 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Blue Thunder now possess a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Rockford Auburn for a Northern Illinois 10 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Belvidere North will play a Knights team coming off a 48-45 league win over Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Knights record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, East Moline United falls to 1-21 on the campaign. The Panthers host Rock Island (Rock Island, IL) to play the Rocks in a Western Big 6 bout on Thursday, January 23. The Rocks go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Rock Island lost 39-34 in their recent league bout against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL)
