The Okolona Chieftains (Okolona, MS) basketball crushed the visiting West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), 53-9 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Chieftains now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Vardaman for a 1A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Okolona will play a Rams team coming off a 59-34 non-league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Rams record now stands at 9-9.
