January 19, 2024: Lake Worth, TX 76135 Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX), 81-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Decatur upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX) to clash with the Bulls in a 4A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulls go into the bout with a record of 11-16. Bridgeport lost 78-37 in their recent league bout against Krum (Krum, TX)
Next up, the Bullfrogs clash with the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Lake Worth will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Porcupines go into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 69-36 league win over Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX).
