South Carolina High School Basketball - York ripped by Lancaster

The Lancaster Bruins basketball team scored 73 points and held the host York Cougars to 41 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Land for a AAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 23. Lancaster will face a Warriors team coming off a 64-38 league loss to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 14-5.

With the defeat, York moves to 5-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to face the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 23. The Stallions enter the game with a record of 7-12. South Pointe won 60-47 in their recent league game against Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC)
