The South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) basketball knocked off the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), 60-47 in Friday's league test.

The Stallions (7-12) will now prepare for their test against York (York, SC). The Cougars go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, York went down by Lancaster (Lancaster, SC), 73-41, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a AAAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, January 23. Northwestern will encounter a Copperheads squad coming off a 64-38 league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 17-2.
