South Dakota High School Basketball - Warner overwhelms Britton-Hecla
January 19, 2024: Britton, SD 57430 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) and the host Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), saw Warner's basketball squad wallop Britton-Hecla by a tally of 51-23.
With the victory, Warner improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Langford (Langford, SD) to confront the Lions in a B Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Langford won 48-31 in their recent non-league challenge against North Central (Eureka, SD)
Next up, the Braves confront the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) in a B Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Britton-Hecla will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 44-27 league loss to Langford (Langford, SD).
