The May River Sharks basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Bluffton Bobcats to 35 in the Sharks league triumph on Friday.

The Sharks now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 24. May River will meet a Bengals team coming off a 77-51 non-league win over Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 11-8.
