Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) and the visiting Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA), saw Clinch County's basketball squad hold off Turner County by a count of 70-66.

With the victory, Clinch County upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Berrien (Nashville, GA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 6-12. Berrien won 62-43 in their recent league battle against Worth County (Sylvester, GA)

The Titans (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians come into the A D2 Region 2 battle with a 17-1 record. In their last battle, Charlton County edged Echols County (Statenville, GA), 85-17, in a league battle.
