The Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 70-56 in Friday's league test.

The Raiders (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the 5A Northern test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Douglas notched a victory over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 62-43, in a league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Truckee for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Galena will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 66-58 non-league win over Sage Ridge (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-6.
