January 20, 2023: Athens, GA 30622 The Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) basketball nipped the host Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA), 63-57 in Friday's non-league test.
The Red Devils (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAA Region 8 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Heritage got by Eastside (Covington, GA), 56-40, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Oglethorpe County for a A D1 Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 24. Prince Avenue Christian will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-9.
