In Friday's league outing, the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) basketball squad beat the host South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), by a count of 59-49.

The Trojans (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads go into the AAAA Region 3 outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Catawba Ridge defeated Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC), 64-59, in a league outing.
