The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 57-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC)

The Pumas now possess a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardrey Kell for a 4A Conference 49 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Palisades will confront a Knights team coming off a 74-60 league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-9.
