North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina Day trounced by Wando
January 20, 2024: Asheville, NC 28803 The Wando Warriors routed the host Carolina Day Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 74-44 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 battle, on Tuesday, January 23. Wando will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Cobras come into the battle with a 14-7 record after their 51-37 league win over Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC).
The Wildcats (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Christ School (Arden, NC). The Greenies come into the NCISAA Carolinas battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Christ School was overwhelmed by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 63-57, in a non-league battle.
