January 20, 2024: Loveland, CO 80537 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO) and the visiting Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO), saw Thompson Valley's basketball squad hold off Mountain View by a tally of 73-70.
With the victory, Thompson Valley improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-12. Fort Morgan lost 85-59 in their recent league challenge against Skyline (Longmont, CO)
Next up, the Mountain Lions play the Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge, on Monday, January 22. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 67-46 league loss to Northridge (Greeley, CO).
