New Jersey High School Basketball - Barringer can't hold off Dwight Morrow
January 20, 2024: Englewood, NJ 07631 The Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Barringer Blue Bears to 30 in the Maroon Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgefield Park for a Big North - American contest on Tuesday, January 23. Dwight Morrow will battle a Scarlets team coming off a 46-36 non-league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Scarlets record now stands at 8-7.
The Blue Bears (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Science Park (Newark, NJ). The Chargers come into the Super Essex - Freedom contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Science Park edged Belleville (Belleville, NJ), 37-25, in a non-league contest.
