The Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC) basketball edged the host Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC), 62-59 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Volunteers now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cheraw for a AA Region 4 bout on Saturday, January 25. Andrew Jackson will play a Braves team coming off a 80-41 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, SC). The Braves record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Trinity Collegiate falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to play the Swampcats in a SCISA 4A Region III bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Swampcats go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Laurence Manning Academy won 61-59 in their recent non-league bout against Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC)
