In Monday's league contest, the visiting Avalon Black Knights basketball team scored a good 71-58 triumph over the The Living Water School The Storm.

The Black Knights (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD). The Wildebeests go into the non-league contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Sandy Spring Friends topped McLean (Potomac, MD), 59-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the The Storm battle the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets (Spencerville, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. The Living Water School will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 49-34 league win over Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD).
