The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) and the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), observed St. Francis's basketball team knock off Schaumburg by a score of 45-33.

The Spartans (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Bandits come into the Girls Catholic - White challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Resurrection was knocked off by Taft (Chicago, IL), 40-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Saxons encounter the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - West challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Schaumburg will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
