Indiana High School Basketball - Western Boone crushes Speedway

Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN), 55-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Western Boone upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Stars host North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN) to clash with the Chargin' Chargers in a Sagamore bout on Friday, January 27. The Chargin' Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-10.

Next up, the Sparkplugs clash with the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Speedway will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 66-54 non-league win over Monrovia (Monrovia, IN).
