Texas High School Basketball - Albany thwarts Stamford
January 21, 2025: Albany, TX 76430 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Albany Lions (Albany, TX) and the visiting Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX), observed Albany's basketball team knock off Stamford by a score of 45-34.
The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Haskell (Haskell, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region II District 10 challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Haskell was knocked off by Hawley (Hawley, TX), 55-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Stamford will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
