Maryland High School Basketball - Arcadia nips Bennett
January 22, 2024: Salisbury, MD 21804 Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bennett Clippers (Salisbury, MD), 35-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Arcadia upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA) to play the Ponies in a Eastern Shore bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Ponies come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Chincoteague won 50-36 in their recent league bout against Northampton (Eastville, VA)
Next up, the Clippers play the Parkside Rams (Salisbury, MD) in a Bayside - South bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Bennett will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 73-10 league win over Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD).
