Washington High School Basketball - Lake Washington nudges Everett
January 22, 2024: Everett, WA 98201 Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Everett Seagulls (Everett, WA), 55-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Washington upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Kangaroos host Hazen (Renton, WA) to clash with the Highlanders in a 3A KingCo bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Hazen won 57-32 in their recent league bout against Interlake (Bellevue, WA)
Next up, the Seagulls clash with the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Everett will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 68-39 non-league win over Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA).
