Florida High School Basketball - Lecanto overwhelms River Ridge
January 22, 2025: New Port Richey, FL 34654 The Lecanto Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host River Ridge Royal Knights to 31 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they host Crystal River for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Lecanto will confront a Pirates team coming off a 43-38 non-league win over Belleview (Belleview, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, River Ridge falls to 6-8 on the campaign.
