South Carolina High School Basketball - Catawba Ridge crushes Northwestern

Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), 67-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Catawba Ridge upgrades its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Copperheads travel to South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 26. The Stallions come into the bout with a record of 8-12. South Pointe won 68-33 in their recent league bout against York (York, SC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 26. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Bruins come into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 65-57 league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).
