January 23, 2025: Millerstown, PA 17062 Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Millville Quakers (Millville, PA), 62-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Greenwood advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Halifax (Halifax, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a Tri-Valley match on Saturday, January 25. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 14-3. Halifax won 57-45 in their recent league match against Line Mountain (Herndon, PA)
The Quakers now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weatherly for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Millville will meet a squad coming off a 83-49 non-league loss to Bethlehem Christian (Easton, PA). The record now stands at 9-7.
