The Galax Maroon Tide basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Radford Bobcats to 51 in the Maroon Tide non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Maroon Tide now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Narrows for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Galax will confront a Green Waves team coming off a 62-56 non-league win over Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Green Waves record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Radford falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Monday, January 27.
