New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos tops Espanola Valley
January 24, 2023: Espanola, NM 87532 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) and the host Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), saw Los Alamos's basketball squad knock off Espanola Valley by a tally of 50-36.
With the victory, Los Alamos improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Taos (Taos, NM) to play the Tigers in a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Taos lost 44-34 in their recent league challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)
Next up, the Sundevils play the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Espanola Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record.
