Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) and the visiting Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA), saw Taft's basketball squad wallop Shafter by a tally of 53-29.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host McFarland (McFarland, CA) to play the Cougars in a South Sequoia challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. McFarland won 65-47 in their recent league challenge against Shafter (Shafter, CA)
