South Carolina High School Basketball - Thomas Sumter Academy thwarts Clarendon Hall
January 24, 2025: Dalzell, SC 29128 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC) and the visiting Clarendon Hall Saints (Summerton, SC), observed Thomas Sumter Academy's basketball team knock off Clarendon Hall by a score of 30-15.
The Generals (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC). The Cavaliers come into the SCISA 3A Region I challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Calhoun Academy dropped by Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC), 71-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Saints encounter the Holly Hill Academy Raiders (Holly Hill, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Clarendon Hall will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 72-67 non-league loss to Dorchester Academy (St. George, SC).
