Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), 58-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fremont advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Tigers host Columbus (Columbus, NE) to face the Discoverers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Discoverers enter the match with a record of 4-9. Columbus lost 79-41 in their recent non-league match against Kearney (Kearney, NE)
