In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ville de Marie Academy basketball team scored a good 57-38 triumph over the James Madison Preparatory School Patriots.

The (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thunderbird Adventist Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The go into the Canyon Division 1 - Cactus contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Thunderbird Adventist Academy was topped by Trinity Christian (Prescott, AZ), 63-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Berean Academy Eagles (Sierra Vista, AZ) in a Canyon Division 1 - Sahuaro contest, on Monday, January 27.
