North RedHawks (Wichita, KS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Schlagle Stallions (Kansas City, KS), 39-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, North advances its record to 1-9 on the year. The RedHawks travel to Metro Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS) to meet the Mavericks in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 13-7. Metro Academy won 96-23 in their recent non-league match against Midland Adventist Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS)

The Stallions now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Meadowlark match on Wednesday, January 29. Schlagle will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 78-70 non-league loss to Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.
