January 24, 2025: Philadelphia, MS 39350 Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS), 57-31 in a league match.
With the victory, Philadelphia advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS) to face the Jaguars in a 2A Region 4 match on Monday, January 27. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 9-10. J.Z. George won 61-58 in their recent league match against Eupora (Eupora, MS)
The Bobcats now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a 2A Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 28. Sebastopol will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 37-33 non-league win over Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-17.
