The Greenforest Eagles basketball squad (Decatur, GA), lost 47-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors (Atlanta, GA)

With the victory, Southwest Atlanta Christian advances its record to 16-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to W D Mohammed (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Caliphs in a A D1 Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Caliphs enter the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Eagles now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norcross for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. Greenforest will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-5.
