Pelican Rapids Vikings (Pelican Rapids, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hawley Nuggets (Hawley, MN), 76-71 in a league bout.

With the win, Pelican Rapids upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Vikings host Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN) to play the Rebels in a AA Section 8 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton won 69-67 in their recent non-league bout against Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN)
