The Lowry Buckaroos basketball squad (Winnemucca, NV), was crushed 60-37 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Elko Indians (Elko, NV)

With the victory, Elko improves its record to 9-10 on the season. The Indians travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to clash with the Vaqueros in a 3A Northern - East test on Friday, January 31. The Vaqueros come into the test with a record of 14-6. Fernley won 51-38 in their recent non-league test against North Valleys (Reno, NV)

The Buckaroos (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave come into the 3A Northern - East test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Churchill County was routed by Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 80-54, in a league test.
