In Saturday's league contest, the host North Augusta Yellow Jackets basketball squad scored a decisive 70-11 victory over the Midland Valley Mustangs.

With the victory, North Augusta advances its record to 18-1 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to meet the War Eagles in a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The War Eagles enter the battle with a record of 9-5. Gray Collegiate Academy won 60-29 in their recent league battle against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC)

The Mustangs now own a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Midland Valley will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 48-41 league loss to Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-12.
