California High School Soccer - University Prep knocks off West Valley
January 26, 2023: Cottonwood, CA 96022 The University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) soccer bounced the host West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA), 4-0 in Thursday's league bout.
With the victory, University Prep moves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Orland (Orland, CA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Trojans enter the bout with a record of 11-3. Orland won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Williams (Williams, CA)
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a Northern Athletic bout, on Tuesday, January 31. West Valley will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Miners enter the bout with a 7-7 record after their 2-2 league Lassen (Susanville, CA).
