South Carolina High School Basketball - Pee Dee Academy holds off Carolina Academy
January 26, 2024: Mullins, SC 29574 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC) and the visiting Carolina Academy Bobcats (Lake City, SC), saw Pee Dee Academy's basketball squad hold off Carolina Academy by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Pee Dee Academy improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Williamsburg Academy (Kingstree, SC) to confront the Stallions in a SCISA AAA Region II challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Williamsburg Academy won 65-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee Academy (Bishopville, SC)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region II challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Carolina Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 56-43 league loss to Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
