January 26, 2024: Gravette, AR 72736 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR) and the host Gravette Lions (Gravette, AR), saw Gentry's basketball squad wallop Gravette by a tally of 55-34.
With the victory, Gentry improves its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR) to confront the Saints in a 4A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Shiloh Christian won 53-39 in their recent league challenge against Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR)
Next up, the Lions confront the Pea Ridge Blackhawks (Pea Ridge, AR) in a 4A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Gravette will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 20-4 record after their 78-39 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, AR).
