January 26, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78226 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX) and the host John F. Kennedy Rockets (San Antonio, TX), saw Gonzales's basketball squad hold off John F. Kennedy by a tally of 46-41.
With the victory, Gonzales improves its record to 6-21 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Minutemen in a 4A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 0-20.

Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 16-16 season record.
