January 26, 2024: Lehighton, PA 18235 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) and the host Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), saw Pottsville's basketball squad overcome Lehighton by a tally of 58-39.
With the victory, Pottsville improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Crimson Tide travel to Palmyra (Palmyra, PA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Palmyra lost 43-37 in their recent league challenge against Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA)
Next up, the Indians confront the North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Lehighton will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 66-49 league win over Panther Valley (Lansford, PA).
