January 26, 2024: Colquitt, GA 39837 The Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA), 80-75 in Friday's league test.
The Pirates (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Quitman County (Georgetown, GA). The Hornets go into the A D2 Region 1 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Quitman County got by Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA), 75-45, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Stewart County for a A D2 Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 30. Pataula Charter Academy will encounter a Royal Knights squad coming off a 75-45 league loss to Quitman County (Georgetown, GA). The Royal Knights record now stands at 1-16.
